WOOD DESTROYING PESTS (Termites)
It is important to have the house inspected for termites, usually the seller pays for this.
Termite reports provide two categories of findings:
Section 1 is work that must be done, usually the seller pays for this.
Section 2: is work that is optional, usually the buyer would be responsible to pay for this.
An example of a Section 1 finding would be active termite infestation.
An example of a Section 2 finding would be a recommendation to paint the eaves.
