Even further north and west is the resort community of Silver Lakes. There is the equestrian end of town and
the lakeside end of town featuring a golf course with houses adjoining the green.
The rural areas of Phelan and Pinon Hills have a combination of custom built homes and manufactured homes.
The majority of homes are on dirt roads and large lots are the norm in this area.
